Below are the forms and paperwork associated with commissioning a portrait.
These forms should be downloaded in PDF form, printed, filled out, signed and returned to Dan to initiate a commission. Please contact Dan directly when working on these materials.

TERMS OF SERVICE

- A 50% commencement fee is required after the photographs are approved to begin a portrait.
- The fee balance is due upon preview of completed painting prior to shipping.
- After final review of painting, additional changes are billed at $120 per hour.
- Travel from Stow, Massachusetts, to client’s location is additional to fees.
- Shipping and Massachusetts 5% sales tax are additional to fees.
- Portrait canvases are stretched and delivered without decorative frames.
- Portraits with great complexity can warrant higher fees, as agreed upon in discussion with client.
- Portraits containing more than two persons will warrant a higher fee.
- Inspirational photos supplied by the client should not be professional studio portraits.
- Use of photos taken by a professional portrait or wedding photographer must be negotiated in cases where the photographer retains copyright of the images, affecting price.
- A Commission Agreement and Terms of Service must be signed to begin a portrait
- Client agrees that Dan Lynch / HearthWorks Studios has exclusive rights over usage of the portrait image and may use the portrait image for promotion of HearthWorks Studios
PRICING
The prices shown reflect ranges based on project variables. Call Dan to discuss your particular project, and he can work with you to determine a workable price. Price ranges below do not reflect travel expenses, shipping and overtime labor:
- Smaller portraits: (8x12 to 12x18) $900 to $1,500
- Larger portraits: (16x24 to 32x48) $1,700 to $2,800
- Duplicate "in-law" portraits: one third of original's cost
